Harry Park Very nice continuation of what Amiensus did with Restoration. It's more diverse, lively, there's a better sense of consistency, and the mix of clean and harsh vocals are some of my favorite exchanges. Favorite track: On These Deserted Plains.

Bradford Clifton Complete; rarely can I explain an album with one word, yet Ascension is easily condensed down into simply that. Amiensus have blended a plethora of genres: savage black metal, austere melancholy and grandiose acoustic soundscapes, all bound together by masterful songwriting and brilliant riffs.
Favorite track: On These Deserted Plains.

Andersmensch Amiensus is one of the best atmospheric black metal projects here in my oppinion.
The balancing act between harsh metal, growls, clean vocals and calm melodies is so well done it nearly raises your eyebrows.
If this is not allready enough they also convince with an very unique sound - you simply can´t go wrong with this guys!
